First Me Made Mittwoch

For the longest time I wanted to take part at Me Made Mittwoch (Wednesday) over at Cat's. I have always seen and admired the wonderful things bloggers had sewn for themself, but unfortunately I dont do that very often (sewing for myself that is). Lately though I have been pretty good to myself ;-)
Schon ganz ganz lange wollte ich mal bei Cat's Me Made Mittwoch mitmachen. So oft hatte ich schon die tollen Sachen bewundert, die all diese kreativen Ladies im Blogland für sich selbst genäht hatte.
Jetzt habe ich auch mal was für mich selbst genäht!

I made my first shirt!!!
Ich habe mein allererstes Shirt genäht!!!

I used a pattern called "Shelly" by jolijou, which is very popular in the German self made blogging community right now. It was much easier than I thought it would be and no problem that I dont own an overlock machine!
Cause I didnt trust myself I used mispurchased jersey that I would not shed a tear over if something went wrong.

Natürlich ist es eine Shelly nach dem tollen Schnittmuster von Jolijou. Super einfach zu nähen und auch kein Problem, wenn man (wie ich) keine Overlock besitzt.

Weil ich mir selbst nicht so ganz getraut hatte, musste erstmal ne "Probe"-Shelly her aus Jersey, der eigentlich mal ein Fehlkauf war.

What can I say? I LOVE my trial version ;-) and others will follow!!!
Aber was soll ich sagen? Ich LIEBE meine Probe-Shelly ;-) und es werden bestimmt noch mehr !!!
