Anybody still out there?
I know, you haven't heard from me in forever, but I am back home and although for me this is not really a reason to celebrate, I think we should have a party anyways!
I'm gonna join Lucy's
I've already done some snooping around over there and got my party goody bag: Erin from Billy Button Design is gonna send me a fabulous Moda charm pack. Woohoo!!!! Thanks again Erin! Maybe you find something in return.
What I found funny is that everybody thinks they've got the fugliest fabric, but you haven't seen mine ;-)
So, here we go:
This one is actually not so bad. I've used it before as you will notice later ;-)
It is 27" x WOF (57") and it's missing a little square in one corner.
This one I absolutely hated. I was offended when my little sister picked this fabric when I told her I was gonna make her a little pencil pouch. I tried really hard to make her pick another type of fabric, but she is really stubborn and well, she was the one who had to live with it ;-)
The pouch actually turned out pretty cute!
This piece is 14" x 39" and I am not sure if it's 100% cotton since it is kind of shiny.
This one was just not meant to be! It's 21,5" x WOF (43"). I didn't even use a little scrap of it.
This christmas fabric was actually one of my first fabric purchases (something like 17+ years ago).
It feels a bit wierd giving it away, but I've only used a suare foot back then and never touched it again. So it's time to let go. It is 38" x 26" (minus that square foot).
Those funny bugs are actually 2 pieces. Each is a bit bigger than a sqare foot.
I'd like to combine it with that ugly FQ bundle:
Those are more or less FQ-sized.
So what I would like to do is swap those Fuglies.
When I go fabric shopping I always forget about solids and unicolored fabrics. I love bright colors!
Maybe you have some FQs like that or I would also be happy with some 5"-squares in the colors of the rainbow cause I am dreaming about making a quilt like this:
In the unlikely event of you falling in love with one or more of my fuglies, tell me what you would swap them for. Keep in mind, that I live in Germany!
OK, now!!!!!
Yes, my post title said GIVEAWAY ;-)
I've been wanting to do this for the longest time (ever since I got 50 followers) Yay!!!!
One of you can win this:
A key leash I made using Stephanie's tutorial and a little make-up pouch.
Recognize the fabric on the right? |
Since I am celebrating my first 50 followers those will get two chances of winning.
Just leave me a 2nd comment telling me that you were one of the first 50.
Edit: If you win the giveaway you WILL NOT recieve the fugly fabric (unless you really want some of it)!!!
You can enter till February, 14th (23:59 p.m. Berlin, Germany time ;-)
New followers are very welcome! If you are new and find my blog boring - dont worry!!! I will be posting more soon ;-)
