My deadline was last Saturday. This was when I attended my first real market to sell my bags and pouches etc.!!!
I had a try at this almost exactly 2 years ago, but it was just for fun: no market fee (just a cake), I had cell phone bags, tiny cosmetic bags and ear rings - the table looked rather empty. I had one real customer + some family and friends ;-)
This time it had to be different - more professional!
The setting was a local street fair in the neighborhood. Two months ago a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to join her at the market. She was gonna go there to promote her outdoor-fitness program for young mothers with babies in buggies. Conveniently enough her husband has a company that sets up stands at big trade fairs and exhibitions. He provided us with tables and everything.
Well, I had a blast!
Till Saturday we couldn't be sure of how the weather was gonna be, but the Weather God was gracious! Perfect market weather: not too cold and not too hot. It started to rain 5 min after we had packed up and left ;-)
For weeks I was planing, stocking up on material, deciding of what to sew, cutting fabric, bringing it over to my mom's who was the biggest helper by ironing all the volume fleece and interfacing onto the fabric!!! I love my Mama!
So here is what kept me from blogging for so long:
Cosmetic bags |
Wallets |
Cell phone cases |
Camera straps (sold the turquoise one ;-) |
Can you see my blog header on the table covers? That was the coolest surpires ever. My friend's husband secretly
Sana in action ;-) |
I will be back now more frequently. I have quite a bit of catching up to do with bee blocks. And I have several posts planed.
I hope I didnt have more people worried! Thank you Lynne for asking again!
See ya,
xxo Sana

AntwortenLöschenI should have known this. I would have boarded sk3011 Norwegian dep. 07:50 from CPH bound for Berlin and bought the wallet to the left (with the tulips)! I almost did - just to escape the rain here and feel some German rain :-)
You are so talented:-))
